Updated 12/14/21
Little Artists In-Studio classes are open under the following guidelines:

Our studios will open at a maximum of 75% normal capacity.  Classes will begin with 1-2 teachers and a maximum of 6-9 students (excluding certain 1-teacher ratio classes), with students separated by approx. 6 feet.

All fees or tuition will be paid online through our customer portal. All class scheduling can be taken care of online, by phone or by email. Please be patient as we will be adjusting to these new measures with you.

For ages 6-18, all classes will temporarily last only 1 hour (ages 4-6 may also attend these classes).   For ages 4-6, there will be a 45 minute class on Saturday mornings at our San Carlos location.

Our studios will operate as a “workspace classroom” only. No general public will enter the studios.  Parents will only be allowed to enter if there is an emergency.  Parents are welcome to observe classes from outside the front of the studio.

Full social distancing will be maintained, and all teachers will be required to wear masks within a 6-8 foot distance of others. Masks for students are required while indoors starting December 15th, 2021 for the safety of our workspace & other students. Please let us know if your child has a medical reason that does not allow them to wear masks. Those without masks will be separated accordingly. Students who are wearing masks are allowed to briefly remove their mask to get fresh air when needed.

Please refer to the San Diego County Coronavirus Decease Website for more info regarding facial coverings.

All students must be in good health with no fever, cold or flu symptoms. We ask that you keep students home if they are not feeling well and take advantage of our Make-up policy.

All instructors must be in good health with no fever, cold or flu symptoms. Each instructor MUST check their temperature prior to teaching in the classroom. Any employee with an elevated temperature will be sent home.

Little Artists will observe regular and consistent cleaning of surfaces, hand washing, and other health safety protocols as outlined in the guidelines from San Diego County health officials.

Daily Safety Protocol

Students will wash their hand upon arrival at the studio location. If a student makes contact with their face during a class they will be asked to wash their hands. Any supplies that are contacted by a student will be set aside for cleaning before being put back for usage. If a student is choosing a new picture reference to draw, they will need to wash their hands first. All supplies for the students will be set up by the instructors to avoid as much additional contact as possible.

Instructors now have 30 minutes between classes to sanitize. Instructors will sanitize all supplies, door handles, surfaces, faucets and benches in between each class session.
